Medicare.gov Tutorial - Select Preferred Pharmacy or Pharmacies
This screen allows you the option of choosing preferred pharmacies in your area and only the Medicare Part D plans will be listed that work with your chosen pharmacies. Typically, we suggest skipping this step by clicking on "Continue". Most national Medicare Part D plans have over 50,000 participating pharmacies and the list continues to grow. We have, however, had situations where someone lives in such a remote area that they have access to only one local pharmacy and mail-order is not an option. In such a case, we will add the pharmacy information to the search criteria.
If you change your mind and wish to add a pharmacy, you can always do so later.
