If you are ready to join a Medicare Part D prescription drug plan (PDP) - the following checklist may help you with your Medicare Part D enrollment decision. As we noted in other areas of this website, there are a series of factors that you must consider when searching for the right Medicare Part D plan. We have expanded that earlier list with a few new items.
Company / Provider Considerations
Probably the first question to ask yourself is whether you have a preferred provider or an insurance company with whom you have an established working relationship?
Some people would rather work with someone they know and you may be able to narrow your search by just identifying the companies that you have always worked with and trusted.
Also, as you may know that there are over 1300 Medicare Part D plans available across America. Many of these plans are offered only locally and you may find that having your Medicare Part D provider in the neighborhood rather nice.
